Atlas’ Get S.E.T. Program – Staffing, Equipment & Training – is designed to shoulder the burden of your entire safe patient handling program. Atlas offers a turn-key solution for all your safe patient handling needs, with the implementation of Atlas’ trained and dedicated lift teams. Lift teams consist of medically trained employees responsible for safely lifting, moving, repositioning and transferring patients from admission to discharge. Our lift technicians are EMT certified, extensively trained to safely move patients using proper lifting techniques and appropriate lifting equipment – preventing risk of injury to patients and employees. Atlas lift teams become an integral resource within your organization, collaborating with your staff in optimizing the culture of safety in your facility. Implementation of our Get S.E.T. program is designed to significantly reduce injuries, workers’ compensation claims, lost workdays, incidence of pressure ulcers etc. – as we take the risk and liability from you onto us. Atlas’ lift team employees are all EMT certified, with many having years of experience in the medical setting.  Our staff members are integrated into the community of your facility in order to create a one on one connection with both patients and care staff alike. By meeting or exceeding your facility’s screening, standardization and qualification requirements, our lift teams become a seamless integral resource within your facility. In addition to being screened and standardized, each Atlas employee is bonded and insured to reduce your facility’s liability. Our teams are rigorously prepared to perform everything from bed transfers and patient repositions, to emergency and high risk lifts (e.g. bariatric, non-weight bearing, and fully dependent patients).

Our team assesses the needs of your facility and designs a program tailored to your needs that can be implemented in 60 days. Since we are a contract service, there is no increase in facility headcount, thus reducing the liability to your facility. We develop standards for patient and caregiver injury reduction, and if those standards are not met, we provide cancellation options (built into the contract) for our services. Once the program is in place, we monitor the results and can provide a comprehensive ROI analysis of our program to demonstrate our long-term benefits.
