Q. Which safe patient handling equipment vendors does Atlas primarily work with?
A. Atlas is a completely vendor-neutral. We work with the existing equipment at your facility, regardless of the brand or type. If you are currently looking for new or replacement SPHM equipment, we can assist in procuring and purchasing the appropriate equipment that suits the mobility and transfer needs of your institution. In doing so, we can customize a proposal for your facility with regards to your current lift equipment inventory and find suitable options for you to choose from for the future.

A. We recognize that every facility is different and provide safe patient handling solutions that can be tailored to any institution. Q. When can I start the process of implementing an Atlas program within my facility?
A. We can begin the implementation process immediately by scheduling a no obligation assessment of your facility at your convenience. This assessment will evaluate what type of program your facility needs – based upon a comprehensive analysis that identifies problem areas and specific solutions for the facility. We then move beyond the assessment and can begin consulting, training and working with your staff.
Q. How much does each of Atlas’ safe patient handling programs cost?
A. The cost of our different services varies, based upon which program you is right for you (full service lift team program, set up & management program or training program). All of Atlas’ program costs depend on the size of your institution, patient population, and the coverage desired. By scheduling a thorough, no obligation assessment – we compile a comprehensive evaluation of your specific needs and services to identify which of our programs is the most cost effective solution for your facility. To prove our long-term cost effectiveness, we continually track and report our R.O.I. to your facility.
Q. Who implements the safe patient handling program at our facility?
A. Atlas employs only the highest caliber of safe patient handling experts who have years of experience in the medical setting. Depending upon the program you choose, all of our clinical staff has extensive formal training and credentials to perform safe patient handling techniques in the clinical setting or consulting at the program level. Our interdisciplinary team includes EMT certified lift technicians, RN consultants, training directors and department managers. Atlas employees work hand in hand with your staff, cooperating in positively changing the culture of the facility.

A. Atlas provides cancellation options (built into our contract) to eliminate the threat of a costly termination fee. In the event you are unsatisfied with our services, we offer an easy and painless cancellation process.
